Libertee Carpets are a total online carpet seller offering polypropylene lines and one-off specials in a whole range of fibres and blends at prices that give massive savings and bigger margins. They are part of the Godfrey Hirst Group.

The site communicates directly with the Godfrey Hirst internal IBM AS/400 database to authenticate users, list product information, and place orders. Communication uses a custom designed message protocol and TCP sockets. Orders are placed directly into the Godfrey Hirst database on site, and are available immediately at terminals within the warehouse for orders to be shipped. Payments are made using credit card which are debited automatically in real-time and orders are only placed once moneys have been transferred.
